Essential Oils in Yin Yoga – Your Ritual for Deep Relaxation

Deep relaxation begins with the first breath.

In my Yin Yoga sessions, I work with the gentle application of 100% pure essential oils – as a small ritual that allows you to sink even deeper into your body.

For application, you put 1-2 drops of the oil on your wrists and gently rub them in.
Then, bring your hands to your face, close your eyes, and breathe calmly and deeply through your nose into your belly, and out again (mouth closed).

With each breath, your body can become softer.
Your mind becomes calmer.
You arrive more and more within yourself ♡

Good to know: For sensitive skin, you can dilute the oil beforehand with a carrier oil for an even gentler application.

A small ritual – with a big effect. Gentle. Noticeable. Natural.

Essential oils accompany me not only on the mat, but also naturally through my everyday life.

In the morning, I like to start with a drop of Lemon in my water – for a fresh, clear start to the day and a good feeling from within.
I use peppermint for a clear head or when the first signs of tension appear.
When things get louder outside, I reach for Balance – for more calm and grounding.

Essential oils are also indispensable in my small medicine cabinet.
At the first signs that my body needs support, I intuitively reach for the oils that can accompany me at that moment.

And often it's the citrus scents in the diffuser that fill the room with freshness and give me small, light feel-good moments in everyday life.

For me, they are an indispensable part of my self-care routine ♡
