How are alkaline water and hydrogen water actually made?

Water ionization is a process in which water is separated into its ionized components. This is done through electrolysis, where electric current is passed through water to split the molecules into their ions. The water molecules are then separated into positively (anode) and negatively (cathode) charged ions, which gives the drinking water its higher pH value.

At Aquion, this is called "activation" – with their patented water cell, electron-charged activated water is produced. Alkaline, antioxidant water (hydrogen water) has a pH value of approximately 8.0 to 10.0. According to the drinking water ordinance, the pH value should be between 6.5 and 9.5.

Why are activated water and hydrogen water so healthy?

Due to its alkaline property, useful oxygen 02 & active hydrogen (H2) are produced - making it our best antioxidant, as it perfectly hydrates and thus balances blood & lymph, with many positive properties such as:

In fact, up to 200 foreign/harmful substances including, for example, bacteria, germs, drug residues, heavy metals, pesticides, microplastics, microparticles of chlorine, cleaning agents, rust particles, organic compounds and many more.
